Perform the following procedure to replace the Solid State Drive:
Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the captive screw (a spring-loaded screw that does not detach from the device) securing the lever of the SSD being replaced as shown below.

Pull the lever until the SSD disengages from the

Insert the new SSD into the same slot that previously contained the old SSD. |
Remove the SSD and place it into the ESD protective bag.
Remove the new SSD from the ESD bag and insert it fully into the empty SSD slot.
Close the lever and tighten the captive screw to 10 inch/lbs using the torque driver.
Reapply power to

Verify that the SSD LED is Green (located to the right of SSD).
Unplug the ESD wrist strap from the front of the chassis.
Reattach the bezel assembly to

After completing the SSD replacement, re-install the operating system and the SBC application. Refer to Re-Installing ConnexIP Operating System for SBC 5000 Series and to Installing SBC Application for more information and procedures.
