The Memory Usage provides the statistical report of memory usage Use the Memory Usage window to view memory usage statistics in a tabular and in a chart format.

To view memory usage detailsFrom the SBC main screen, go to Monitoring > Dashboard > Memory Usage or
Monitoring > System > Category: Hardware StatusMemory > Memory Usage.

The Memory Usage window displays. Click the Memory Type or Memory column header to sort the table by that column. The memory usage data is updated every five seconds.

ParameterDescription
Total System Memorysystem memory

Specifies total system memory used by the SBC platform.

Real free memory (Kb)Specifies real free memory on the SBC platform, which includes free memory , buffer memory and cached memory.
Free memorySpecifies free memory available after installing the SBC application.
Used memorySpecifies the memory used by the SBC application.
Cached memorySpecifies cached memory which stores the copies of the data from frequently used main memory location.
BuffersSpecifies the temporary storage for raw disk blocks.

The memory usage chart is updated every "five" seconds.
