This profile specifies the Egress parameters of CAC related to Zone object.

To View and Edit Zone - CAC - Egress

On SBC main screen, go to to Configuration >  > System Provisioning > Category > Category: CAC Provisioning Provisioning > Zone > CAC > Egress Zone > CAC > Egress. The Egress window is displayed.

The CAC - Egress can be checked for each Address Context, and for each Zone, or for all the Address Contexts, and Zones created. Use the drop-down box boxes to select the desired Address Context, and Zone.

Parameter


Description

Call LimitSpecifies the total number of calls allowed for Egress.
Emergency OversubscriptionSpecifies the oversubscription of resources (as a percentage) that is allowed for emergency calls. The value ranges from 0 to 1000 and the default value is 10.
Extended Emergency Ip IP LimitSpecifies the maximum sustained Egress rate (registrations per second) of initial SIP registrations allowed. The value ranges from 0 to 40000 and the default value is 0.
Call Rate MaxSpecifies the value of maximum allowed burst in calls/second (above the allowed sustained rate) for egress call attempts. The default value is unlimited (range: 1-450, or unlimited. SBC 7000 range is 1-1350, or unlimited).
Call Burst MaxSpecifies the value of maximum allowed burst (above the allowed sustained rate) for egress call attempts in calls/second. The default value is unlimited (range: 1-900, or unlimited. SBC 7000 range is 1-2700, or unlimited).
Register Rate MaxSpecifies the maximum sustained Egress rate (registrations per second) of initial SIP registrations allowed. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited. SBC 7000 series range is 1-3000, or unlimited).
Register Burst MaxSpecifies the maximum allowed burst (above the allowed sustained rate) for egress initial SIP registrations. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited. SBC 7000 series range is 1-3000, or unlimited).
Hpc OversubscriptionSpecifies the over-subscription of the resources (in a percentage) that is allowed for HPC calls. When the baseline call limit and bandwidth limits are reached, normal calls are not admitted, but additional HPC calls are allowed up to the configured value percentage. The value ranges from 0 to 100 % and the default value is 10 %.
