Mirroring is used to monitor LAN traffic by mirroring traffic from selected LAN ports onto a monitor port.

  1. Choose Switch > Mirroring.


  2. Configure settings using the information in the following table as a guide.

    Monitor Port

    Selects a LAN port be the monitor port. All traffic from source ports are mirrored onto this port:

    • None—No ports are selected.

    • System—Monitors traffic on the system LAN port.

    • Port_1 through Port_24

    Source Part

    Selects the LAN ports to be mirrored onto the monitor port. All traffic from these ports are mirrored onto the monitor port: Port_1 through Port_24.



  3. In the Source Port table, choose a setting from the Monitor Port drop-down list.

  4. In the Source Port table, select checkboxes for each source port for traffic that you want to mirror to the Monitor Port: Port_1 through Port_24. To select all ports, click All or click None to deselect all ports.

  5. Click Submit to save your settings.
