    ItemDescription

System Authorization Message of the Day

Enter a message for users before they log into the system from the console. A typical message warns users that access is private and requires permission. This message allows unauthorized users the opportunity to terminate their login session before they access the system.

System Authorization MOTD is supported only on logins from the console. Telnet, SSH and HTTP/HTTPS protocols do not allow the transfer of MOTDs in the protocol while establishing a session.

HTTP/HTTPS Short System Authorization Message of the Day

Enter a message warning users before they log into the system GUI that the system is private and requires permission to use. The message is limited to 511 characters.

System Greeting Message of the Day

Enter a message that is displayed following successful login. A typical message includes a system greeting along with notification about important events or changes to the system.

  3. When you have finished configuring settings, click Submit to make your changes take effect.
