Overview
This page describes the procedure for backing up your
(SBC) system configuration to a file. The backup data will include the following SBC data elements:
- The configuration file (including any imported certificates)
- The local users and passwords
- The pre and post login messages
SBC with a Built-in ASM
If your SBC has a built-in Application Solution Module (ASM), then the following configuration data elements are also stored:
- The ASM's Network Settings
- The ASM's Remote-Desktop Setting

Backing up an SBC Configuration
This operation can be accessed either via the Tasks Tab or the Settings Tab.

| - In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
In the left navigation pane, click System > Backup/Restore Config. From the Operation drop down box, select Backup Configuration. Enter a Passphrase for configuration back up (optional; up to 128 alpha-numeric characters). In the WebUI, scroll the mouse over the Passphrase field (in blue) for additional information. Note |

A passphrase is optional and, if provided, will be used in place of a node-specific cipher key to protect AD Credentials, Shared Keys, and other sensitive data. |
Enter the same password in the Confirm Passphrase box.
Click OK (if you enter a passphrase or leave blank, the Open dialog is displayed). Choose a location in which to save the file.
- Click OK.
