This Use this object specifies the packet outage to specify the Packet Outage detection parameters for this Gw GW Trunk Group.

To View and Edit Packet Outage

On the SBC main screen, navigate to All > Address Context > Zone > Gw GW Trunk Group > Packet Outage.

The Packet Outage can be checked for each Address Context, Zone , and Gw GW Trunk Group or for all the Address Contexts, Zones, and Gw GW Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone, and Gw GW Trunk Group.

Minimum Duration

Specifies the
0-65535The minimum outage (in milliseconds) on a call for that call to be counted as part of the packet outage detection algorithm. The
value ranges from 0 to 65535 and the
default value is 6000.

Minimum Calls

Specifies the
0-65535The number of calls with outages required within the current interval to declare a packet outage event. The
value ranges from 0 to 65535 and the
default value is 1000.

Bandwidth Limit Reduction


Specifies the

1-100The amount to reduce the bandwidth limit (as a percentage of the configured limit) when a packet outage is detected. The
value ranges from 1 to 100 and the
default value is 50.

Detection State

Use to enable

This flag enables automatic bandwidth reduction when a packet outage is detected.

Detection Interval


Specifies the

The size of the packet outage detection interval in minutes. The

value ranges from 5 to 1440 and the

default value is 15.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
