The

supports a REFER message with the Replaces header when two connected calls are in different session control (SC) pods. The SIP creates an OOD INVITE with the Replaces header and sends it back to the SIP Load Balancing (SLB) pod. The SLB pod reads the Replaces header and routes the call to the SC pod where the call with the Replaces header runs. The following call flow outlines a REFER message with the Replaces header.
