Ping a Device
Ping a device:
- In the WebUI, click the Diagnostics tab.
In the left navigation pane, go to Tools > Ping Destination.
Configure the options. See Testing Network Connections#Ping Ping Options - Field Definitions.
Click OK.

Packet Size
Specifies the payload size of the packet sent. Total packet size is the specified value plus eight bytes.
Cancel a Ping Function
At any time, the Cancel Ping option ends a ping session already in progress. Cancel a ping as follows:
Click the Cancel Ping option at the top of the Ping Destination screen.

The Ping function is cancelled and ping results do not continued to be displayed.
Traceroute to Destination
Trace the hops to a destination:
- In the WebUI, click the Diagnostics tab.
In the left navigation pane, go to Tools > Traceroute to Destination.
Configure the options. See Testing Network Connections#Traceroute Traceroute to Destination Options - Field Definitions.
Click OK.

Cancel a Traceroute to Destination Function
