15.x.x, perform the following steps:
- Create a new collection in (refer to Creating collections Collections in EdgeView).
- Create a new user with Role type set as externaladmin external admin (refer to Creating users Users in EdgeView). Set the Collection Access to the newly created collection.
- Open 14.x.x and log in.
Go to EV System > System Settings > 15.

Enter the following details in the 15 tab:
Enable EV15 Synchronization: Select the check-box.
- EV15 Address: Enter the 15 IP address.
- EV15 Username: Enter the user-name of the user created in step 2.
- EV15 User Password: Enter the user password for the new user, created in 15.
- EdgeView14 External Address: By default populates the IP address of logged in 14.x.x.
Once this is complete, click Test EV15 Connection. “Test Complete: Success” message appears if the details you entered are correct.
Click Save and subsequently select Sync with EV15.

Only users with defined email addresses and devices with MAC addresses are synced. Once synced, an automatic nightly process that runs nightly, verifies that the systems remain syncedin sync. |

15.x.x, select the collection created in step 1. All the collections and devices in 14.x.x are populated here. Any changes made to 14.x.x will appear on 15.x.x as well.
