For Routing Label

Displays the routing label associated with this routing label route.

  • Trunk Group (default): When Trunk Group is selected as the option for Route Type, all the Trunk Group related fields are displayed.
  • IP Peer: When IP Peer is selected as the option for Route Type, the Trunk Group related fields are hidden and the field, "Zone for TG and IP Peer" is changed to "Zone for IP Peer". This enhancement allows you to create Routing Label Routes with just an IP Peer as an option.
Zone for TG and IP PeerSelect the Zone associated with the Trunk Group and IP Peer.

Trunk Group

Choose a trunk group to associate with this routing label route from the drop-down menu.

IP Peer

Select the IP Peer from the drop-down menu.

Cost

Enter the relative cost of this route to the carrier.

Proportion

Enter a value that specifies the proportion of calls where this route should be the first route choice. If three routes are assigned to this Routing Label with proportions 80, 70, 50, the  SBC returns the route assigned the proportion of 80 as the first route 40% of the time (80/ 200). The total can be any whole number.

Testing

Select the desired mode for making test calls:

  • Normal - After testing and verifying a route, select this option to use the route for live calls. When selected, the  SBC returns the route regardless of the calling party category (CPC) value, or absence of a CPC value, received in the policy request. (Default setting).

  • Test - When the CPC value in a policy request is Test Call, the  SBC returns the route. When the CPC value is not Test Call or is not present in the policy request, the  SBC does not return the route.

  • Non-Test - When the CPC value in a policy request is Test Call, the  SBC does not return the route. When the CPC value is not Test Call or is not present in the policy request, the  SBC returns the route. Select this option for routes not to be returned during testing.

In Service

Note
Note
  • If the number representing the chosen Trunk Group matches with the code of any of the nations, the SBC assigns the corresponding nation's name to the Trunk Group.
  • After 20 entries are configured in the same Zone under Trunk Group (TG) or IP Peer, the drop-down list adjacent to the TG field disappears. The drop-down list is replaced by a new search panel.

See New Search Panel for an illustrative image.
