Requesting the Software Bundle

 

To request the

 software package from the Salesforce customer portal:

 

  1. Open www.ribboncommunications.com.

  2. Click SERVICES > CUSTOMER SUPPORT LOGIN.

  3. Enter your Ribbon-provided credentials to log on to the portal.

  4. Click DOWNLOADS in the Ribbon Support Portal.

  5. Click Sonus > Select Software and then:

    1. Select SBC 5XX0 or 7XX0 from the Product drop-down list.

    2. Select Linux From the Operating System drop-down list.

    The Select Software screen appearsSoftware to open the Select Software dialog box. To determine the latest Software Bundle and the respective files, refer to to Production Releases.
    Perform the following, and then:

    1. Select Select SBC 5XX0 or  or 7XX0 from the  from the Product drop drop-down list.

    2. Select Select Linux From the  From the Operating System drop drop-down list. The list of Software Bundles that are matching the Product and the Operating System appears below.

  6. Click Request Download on the appropriate SBC5x7x_5.x software bundle. This will open the Software Download Form.

    The Software Download Form page is displayed.

     



  7. Enter the your address details and accept click Submit  to accept the End-User License Agreement.

  8. Review the Click Submit. The Software Request Detail window opens. You will be notified by email when your bundle is ready to be downloaded.

Acquiring the Software Bundle

Customer Support will email you when the bundle is ready to be downloaded. Click on the link in the email and then follow these steps:

  1. Open www.ribboncommunications.com.

  2. Click SERVICES > CUSTOMER SUPPORT LOGIN.

  2. Click Downloads > Sonus > Download Requests.

  3. Click the appropriate Software Request ID to open the Software Request Detail window. The window shows the bundle name and, in the panel below, the components of the bundle. Click on the URL hypertext to download the software.

The browser redirects you to the following page and a pop-up window appears to save your file. If the pop-up window fails to appear, return to the Software Request Detail  window, re-select the software and when the About Download Manager window opens, click the click here link to save your file.
