This section helps you to understand Egress-specific call admission control configuration for the SIP trunk group.

To View and Edit CAC - Egress

Go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > Trunk Group > SIP Trunk Group > CAC > Egress. The Egress window is displayed.

The CAC - Egress can be checked for each Address Context, for each Zone, for each SIP Trunk Group created or for all the Address Contexts, Zones and SIP Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone and SIP Trunk Group.

Specifies the maximum sustained egress rate (registrations per second) of initial SIP registrations allowed. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.

Register Burst Max

Specifies the maximum allowed burst (above the allowed sustained rate) for egress initial SIP registrations. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.

Call Limit

Specifies the total number of concurrent calls (either ingress or egress) allowed on egress. The value ranges from 0 to 2147483647 or unlimited (default).

Emergency Oversubscription

Specifies the oversubscription of resources (as a percentage) that is allowed for emergency calls. The value ranges from 0 to 1000 and the default value is 10.

Extended Emergency IP Limit

The resource oversubscription (expressed as numeric value) allowed for emergency calls. The value ranges from 0 to 40000 with a default value of 0.

Subscribe Rate Max

Specifies the maximum sustained egress rate (subscribes per second) of initial SIP subscribe request. (range: 1-1000, or unlimited.

Hpc OversubscriptionSpecifies the over-subscription of the resources (in a percentage) that is allowed for HPC calls. When the baseline call limit and bandwidth limits are reached, normal calls are not admitted, but additional HPC calls are allowed up to the configured value percentage. The value ranges from 0 to 100 % and the default value is 10 %.
