The SBC SWe Cloud supports configuring Load Balancing Service (LBS) to distribute cluster information between D-SBC instances. 

To configure an LBS on a PKT port (any IP Interface other than MGMT), set "clusterAdmin clusterComm type ip" before the LBS configuration on M-SBC. Refer to Support Intra-Cluster VNFC Communication Through Packet Ports by Assigning an IP Interface Group in CLI.

Configuring Load Balance Service

  1. Log on to the EMA Configurator as admin.
  2. Click All tab.
  3. On the navigation pane, click System > Load Balancing Service.
  4. You can modify the Group Name and Private IP Interface Group Name. Click Save.

inviteRetargetMode

Specifies the load balancing service mode for INVITEs. Enables load balancing for initial INVITE requests. 

If set to redirect, calls may get retargeted using SIP 302 to balance the load.

registerRetargetMode

Specifies the load balancing service mode for REGISTERs. Enables load balancing for REGISTER requests.

If set to redirect, new registrations may get retargeted using SIP 302 to balance the load.

privateIpInterfaceGroupName<name> – The name of the Private IP Interface Group used by M-SBC/T-SBC to communicate with MRF.
