After downloading the

arrived using the checksum function calculator. To calculate the checksum, perform the following steps:

1. Locate and download a free

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the above screen and shown in Figure 1 and select the appropriate version for your local computer. Click the file to download.

3. Unbundle/extract the downloaded files.

4. Locate the extracted files. Launch the hash_calc_x application.

5. Browse and select the sbc<version>.iso archive file (this is the large file downloaded from Downloading the Software from Salesforce).

6. Click md5. Click Calculate. After several seconds, a Checksum value will appear.

7. Locate the file you downloaded from Salesforce with the MD5 File type. Open this file with a text editor, and copy only the hex characters from the beginning of the line.

8. Paste into the "Original Checksum" field field, and then click Compare.
   
   
9. The following message must appear: "Checksums are identical!" must appear. If  If this step reports an error, STOP HEREHERE and do the following:

   1. Repeat the steps to download the files from Downloading the Software from Salesforce. 
   2. Repeat the steps to verify the checksum
