If necessary, you can reboot or reset the ASM from this task. Reboot instructs the ASM operating system to restart (a "clean" reboot), equivalent to rebooting a PC from the Start menu. The Hardware Reset task abruptly resets the ASM (a "dirty" reboot), equivalent to interrupting the power.

The Reboot option is recommended in all cases, and Reset should only be used when the ASM is not responding to other commands. |

- In the WebUI, click the Tasks tab.
In the left navigation pane, under the Application Solution Module, click Shut Down/Reset/Reboot.

- Select Reboot the Card
- Click Apply
A current activity status window will be displayed until the reboot is complete and the node is reachable
Resetting the ASM
