SCOM Compatability Notes
  • Ensure that you import the SBC1K2K_SCOM.MP into SCOM 2007 and SBC1K2K_SCOM.MPB into SCOM 2012. If the SCOM 2007 Management Pack file is imported into SCOM 2012, the import will not return meaningful errors,
but 
  • but the discovery will fail.
  • Importing the SCOM 2012 Management Pack into SCOM 2016 will work and the device discovery is successful, but the SCOM 2016 and the discovered device will not sync to provide meaningful data.
