Overview - What is a SIP Server Table?

SIP Server Tables contain information about the SIP devices connected to the

. The entries in the tables provide information about the IP Addresses, ports, and protocols used to communicate with each server. The Table Entries also contain links to counters that are useful for troubleshooting.

Failover SIP Registration

Failover SIP registration is for redundant SIP servers within a SIP Server Table (either multiple entries, or DNS SRV that returns multiple servers). If the SBC registration to the primary SIP Server fails, becomes unreachable, or the registrations expires and a re-register fails, the SBC attempts to register to the secondary SIP Server and continues calls to the server. Failover SIP registration is completed according to the Priority order of the SIP Servers.Fallback will occur if the primary SIP Server becomes reachable again.

Working with SIP Server Tables

1. In the WebUI, click the Settings tab.

2. In the left navigation pane, go to SIP > SIP Server Tables.

To view a SIP Server Table's properties:

1. Click the Create ( ) icon.

2. Enter a descriptive name in the Description text field.
3. Click OK.
