How to configure the SBC to interoperate with BroadSoft messaging

In order for the SBC to pass through BroadSoft NOTIFY/SUBSCRIBE messages, you must create two Signaling Groups (Phone-side and BroadSoft-side) within the SBC. These Signaling Groups receive, respond, and forward requests from SIP endpoints that are configured in the BroadSoft server. The information below details how to configure these Signaling Groups.

Step 1. Create Broadsoft Signaling Group to receive Message status

Availability of Broadsoft Extensions is enabled through the Broadsoft License; this license is required to enable the Broadsoft Extension option in the Interop Mode drop down box.

The BroadSoft Signaling Group in the SBC is configured to receive message notifications from the BroadSoft server. Create this Signaling Group as follows:
