This article describes the steps necessary to update remotely the ASM Recovery Partition. While the recommended way is to use a flash drive locally plugged on the ASM in order to load a new ASM image into the system, we now support a method who do not require a physical access the SBC. The difficulty comes from getting the approx. 4GB file onto the ASM. You will need a way of transmitting this large ASM Image to the ASM over the network.
