This section describes to configure the Signaling SBC parameters using SBC configuration manager and activating the Signaling SBC cluster using Cluster/VNF Management.
Configuring and Activating Signaling SBC Cluster
- Log on to the EMS.
In Network Management pane, click Cluster / VNF Management.
The Cluster/VNF Management window appears.

In Cluster/VNF Management window, perform the following:
Select the Signaling SBC Cluster from Cluster/VNF List section. The Cluster <name> section appears in the screen.

Click New Configuration. The New Configuration section appears in the screen.

In New Configuration section, Select Version, Master Configurator from the drop-down menu, and enter Configuration Name.
Click Create.
The Configurator clears the database and reboots. The Rebooting takes approximately five minutes.

Creating an IP Interface Group and IP Interface
Create an IP Interface Group
Select Address Context > IP Interface Group. The IP Interface Group List page displays.
Select AC2 from the Address Context drop-down menu.
Click New IP Interface Group. The Create New IP Interface Group screen displays.
- Enter an IP interface group name.
Click Save.

Create an IP Interface
Select Address Context > IP Interface Group > IP Interface. The IP Interface List page displays.
- Select AC1 from the Address Context drop-down menu.
- Select an interface group created from the IP Interface Group drop-down menu. For example, SLIG1.
- Click + New IP Interface. The Create New IP Interface section displays.
- Enter a name for the interface. For example, SLIF1.
- Enter IP Meta key for IP Var V4, Prefix Var V4, IP Public Var V4, IP Var V6, IP Prefix Var V6, IP Public Var V6, and IP VLAN Tag Var fields.
- Select Mode as In Service.
- Select State as Enabled.
- Enter the CE Name.
- Select pkt0 port from the Port Name drop-down menu.

Create Static Route
- Select Configuration > System Provisioning > Static Route. The Static Route List Page is displayed.
- Select AC2 from the Address Context drop-down menu.
- Click + New Static Route. The Create New Static Route section displays.
- Enter the Destination IP Address (IPv4/IPv6).
- Enter the Prefix value.
- Enter the Next Hop IP Address (IPv4/IPv6).
- Select the IP Interface Group Name from the drop-down menu.
- Select the IP Interface Name from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the Preference value.
Click Save.

Creating DNS Group and DNS Server
Create a DNS Group
- Select Address Context > DNS Group. The DNS Group page displays.
- Select AC2 from the Address Context drop-down menu.
- Click + New DNS Group. The Create New DNS Group section displays.
- Enter a DNS name.
- Select IP from the Type drop-down menu.
- Select SLIG1 from the IP Interface drop-down menu.
- Select Use Configured Dns Server as Enabled.

Create a DNS Server
Select Address Context > DNS Group > Server. The Server page displays.

Select the DNS Group drop-down menu.

Enter the DNS server IP in the IP Address V4 or V6 field.

Create a NTP Server
Select System > NTP > Server Admin. The Server Admin screen displays.
- Click + New Server Admin. The Create New Server Admin section displays.
- Enter server IP address.
- Select State as Enabled.

Create a Cluster Type
Select System > Dsbc > Cluster > Type. The Type screen displays.
Click + New Type. The Create New Type section displays.
- Select Name as Policer.
- Select State as Enabled.
Enter the FQDN.

- Select a INTERNAL zone from the Zone drop-down menu.

- Enter an Index number.
- Set State as Enabled.
- Select SLIG1 from the IP Interface Group Name drop-down menu.
- Select sip-udp option in the Transport Protocols Allowed.

- Select Address Context > Zone > SIP Trunk Group > Ingress IP Prefix. The Ingress IP Prefix screen displays.
- Select AC2 from the Address Context drop-down menu.

- Select the INGRESS_TG trunk group from the SIP Trunk Group drop-down menu.
- Click + New Ingress IP Prefix. The Create New Ingress IP Prefix section displays.
- Enter the IP Address.
- Enter the Prefix Length.

Configuring Remote Policy Server
Disable the Local Policy Server
- Select System > Policy Server > Local Server. The Local Server screen displays.
Select the local server listed. The Edit Selected Local Server section displays.
Set State as Disabled.
Select Out of Service from the Mode drop-down menu.
Click Save.
