Use this object to configure global DNS settings.
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Base Provisioning >DNS > Servers > Dns > Global. The Global window is displayed.

Parameter | Description |

Iteration Count | Specifies Global Iteration count limit for DNS iterations of server requests. The value ranges from 0 to 32 and the default value is 8. | Retransmission Count | Specifies Global retransmission count limit for DNS iterations of server requests. The value ranges from 0 to 20 and the default value is 2. | Retransmission Timer | Specifies Global retransmission timer value (in milliseconds) for DNS iterations of server requests. The value ranges from 100 to 10000 and the default value is 500. | Monitoring Interval | Specifies Global monitoring interval (in seconds) for DNS Servers. The value ranges from 1 to 300 and the default value is 5. | Timeouts | Specifies Global number of time outs for blacklisting a DNS Server. The value ranges from 0 to 32 and the default value is 0. | Probe Interval | Specifies Global probe interval (in seconds) for blacklisted DNS Servers. The value ranges from 1 to 300 and the default value is 5. |
