2. Connect Ethernet and data cables:

3. Connect power to SBC and power on:

4. Upgrade BMC firmware (if required):

   Note
   Since, this is a fresh installation, BMC Firmware can not be upgradedfirmware upgrade is not required.

5. Configure SBC platform (BMC, management interfaces, NTP): SBC 5400 - Configuring the Platform .
6. Install SecureLink for Remote Access SBC 5400 - Installing SecureLink for Remote Access .
7. Install

   Spacevars

8. Configure 

   Spacevars
   0 model5

   for a basic call flow and make first call. Refer to the procedure mentioned in How to Set up a Basic Call Flow . The procedure is same for SBC 5400 too.
