The
downloaded ISO image from
SalesForce contains both operating system (OS) and
software application package. Once virtual machine (VM) is configured, you need to upload the
ISO image to VM datastore to install OS and
application software using the platform manger.

Login as user root on VMware vSphere client.
- Enter VMware host machine IP Address.
- Enter your VMware vSphere administrator user name.
- Enter your VMware vSphere administrator password.

The vSphere Client main window appears.
Select the IP Address of your server and click Configuration tab. Click Storage option and select the Datastore and right click as shown:
