Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the 2 captive screw screws (a spring-loaded screw that does not detach from the device) securing the lever tray of the SSD being replaced as shown below.

Pull the lever captive screws until the SSD disengages from the

Remove the SSD and place it into the ESD protective bag.
Remove the new SSD from the ESD bag and insert it fully into the empty SSD slot.
Close the lever and tighten Tighten the captive screw to 10 inch/lbs using the torque driver.
Reapply power to
