1. Login to the BMC web application and click Configuration tab.
   
   
2. Click Users from the Options menu.
   
   
3. Select the root user from the user list.
   
   

4. Click Modify User.
   The following window displays:is displayed.

   0 Figure 1 Modifying BMC Password

5. Enter a new password in both the Password and Confirm Password fields.
   
   
6. Click Modify to complete the password change.
