  1. Use Remote Desktop to connect to the Lync Front End Server.
  2. Launch the Topology Builder.
  3. In the left pane select Mediation pools > relevant pool.
  4. Right-click, then select Edit to open its properties.
  5. Select the newly added Sonus SBC 1000/2000 gateway from the list.
  6. Click Add...to associate it with the Mediation Server as shown below.

  7. Use Remote Desktop to connect to the Lync Front End Server.

  9. Right-click on Lync Server 2010 in left pane.
  10. Select Publish Topology...as shown below.

  1. Open the LYNC Server 2010configuration page:
    1. Enter the URL of the Front-End pool (https://<fqdn of the front end pool>/cscp).
  2. Click Voice Routing in the left pane.
  3. Click Voice Policy in the right pane.
  4. Double-click the relevant policy_ in the list.

  5. Double click the relevant PSTN usage record.

  6. Double Click on the Route entry.

  7. Add the secondary Sonus SBC 1000/2000 gateway into Associated Gateways list

  8. Click OK, OK, and OK to exit out of the Voice Policy configuration.
